Did the left side this afternoon, under two hours from start to finish, not
bad. I did much the same on this one as I did on the right side - I loosened
the engine support that sits on the top of the mount to get enough room to R&R
the mount. Made it pretty simple, not nearly the pig of a job it

Thanks!
For those who have done motor mounts on older MBs, later model motor mounts are
a major challenge. The W163 is especially unpleasant because you have to
replace them form the wheel well, not underneath the car.

Having now done this twice, once on the ML500 and once on the ML350, it’s
equally difficult, but not bad.
The mounts are cheap, like $32 or thereabouts from Mercedes. Don’t buy
aftermarket mounts!
Do the passenger side first, as it’s the easiest.
1.) Take out the fender liner
2.) Remove the n
