Now I am confused. Lit her off this morning and it spews clouds,
there is a growing sheen in the rain soaked street from the tail pipe,
and I am not seeing any oil in the vac lines or leaking fuel, other
than the tail pipe.
I wonder it may be coolant in the block, so I undo the rad cap.

Pop cap and it gurgles up, so I put cap back on and squish hose. No
pressure in there after a few minutes, so I run around the block

Ideas?
Stuck
I wondered, but it was running cool Friday, and spewed lots of smoke.
Maybe it is stuck. I had to use prestone or some crap coolant when

When you replace it, make absolutely positive that the locking screw
hole is clean and dry, else the screw will come loose and beat the
housing and cam to death, and likely also puncture the diaphragm again.

I second that emotion, though in my case it poked a hole in the front
pump casting. Took me the longest time to figure out why it wasn't
working, I woke up one morning and realized that hole did not belong
there. Took awhile for my brain to put the visual of the hole together
with the fact
