The break was in late 2003, I believe, because I know I came up against this on my 2003 S430. Lucky for me Skylaw just happens to live in Tampa, so a nice meal and he was all ready to help out. -D > On Feb 8, 2017, at 9:08 PM, clay via Mercedes wrote: > > thanks for

thanks for the link. Good information Both are 2002, so D2B. Those were 2000-2002 editions. The 2003 may also be D2B, as it uses the same fiber interface and can be an upgraded head unit for the earlier models. clay > On Feb 8, 2017, at 5:44 PM, Dan Penoff via Mercedes

Careful with those, as you might have paid $80 for a bunch of paperweights. The interface used between the audio and phone systems in these W220s changed over time, and are incompatible with each other. You have D2B and MOST, which don’t play nice together and make components from the other

Nope same old yards, not even upgrading the technology to sell… It is a movement toward the cars of the past 15 years I took a visit to the PnP today because there was a w220 that might have goodness for me. Turns out there were a bunch of benz made since Y2K displacing the older stuff.
