I'm used to ABS. If ABS kills the brakes on me, I can kill the ABS by shutting

I thought the problem was the computer getting the idea the throttle
was floored when it really was not. I'm not sure how the data recorder
would dispel that notion if it says that the computer did indeed think
the pedal was floored.
