[MBZ] Oil leak gone?

I run Mobil 1 5W40 in my 82 240D. I have been doing so for the 5 or so years that I've owned it. It has always had a pretty significant oil leak as evidenced my a mess on my driveway. The past couple of weeks the oil leak seems to have stopped! How can this happen? Sent from my iPhone

My bet is that the gravity field in his drive way has weakened, and if he parks somewhere else, oil will resume leaking. I've observed this phenomena before, a more typical manifestation is a mobile cancellation, which causes the car to get 40+ mpg and a side effect is that the air blows ICE
