Undoubtedly but as an example A124's are making between AUD20-30K, there
are 11 E320 A124s on that list or round about AUD200K worth.
What where they traded on? Modern junk that gets 20-30% better mileage?
I can understand old heaps pre catalytic converter days but in the main
these are 'modern'

There are some listed that make you wonder but there are plenty of cars
that people probably have just had enough of. Look at the V-12 1992 140s as one
example. Lots of BMWs, too. Every car has it's own story, no doubt
han that one. ;-(

That's how I felt about my 300SD but never said it either. Even though it
had double the miles of my SIL's Durango, it would make it across town, over
the mountains or acro

You didn't say "I spent $10k and two years of my time tracking down and buying
that 300D, why would I jump at the chance to sell it for $4500, even if it
qualified, which it does not"?

350SDL and 23-year-old 124 300D) as clunkers. My reply: "Not only no, but
Hell no." "Why not?" one asked. "Well, they each get 26 - 30 mpg on Diesel
fuel for one thing, and they're far from clunkers at only 195 km

Good point. A local TV station visited a Seattle dealer last week that had
taken in a bunch of old bangers and quite a few were Tauruses and a big
Cadillac was just limping
While visiting sister and BIL last Sat, I immediately noticed brand new Chevy
Equinox sitting in their carport. They had just the day before "traded" their
'91 Mercury (125 kmi) for it on a "clunker" deal. BIL glanced at my nearly
23-year-old and nearly show-room '87 300D (113 kmi) and asked,
