It's no Mercedes, but it ain't bad. I had a 240 wagon for a while and

Fact of the matter is that there are MANY people who owned Volvos from
the late 60's to the late 80's who just drove them forever -- my
neighbors traded their 245 (with 275,000 miles on it) on an 850. Big
mistake, the 850 was junk in comparison.

fast for the time--0-60 in 8.8 seconds. 45-75 mph passing was
