Is ordinary factoring code also present ("Factor Only") and is
there a corresponding speed-up?
What a prospect: doing a 33M exponent L-L in about 60 days!

Can I re-run Prime95Setup and specify my old
machine name, or must I re-up with a new machine
name, and transfer the old work to the new machine
manually? I know the latter works!

Very discouraging at first blush. Could you give us a brief summary of the
the recoding possibilities that might take adavntage of the new features?
Seems a shame that the much improved P4 memory bandwidth serves for
naught. The chip and the mobos listed seem outlandishly expensive, too.

The P4 at 1.5 GHz is just the beginning of a sequence of ever faster
processors which I think will dominate the market for a long time
to come, and, yes, with RDRAM giving much improved memory
performance, which should give Prime95 a real kick.
A review of the chip from this perspective can be fo
