How can I directly share/view my metacard stack on the net?
I want to organize notes and multimedia in a stack, turn file sharing on with
my personal computer web server and people can view my stack like they view a
web page with a browser. Converting MC to html for publication on the web(
New data placed in my MC standalone is not saved despite placing on
closestack save this stack end closestack placed in the stack script
Any ideas?

I need a metacard based rolodex stack that can store information and images on each card. The stack should have a search capability. Are there any existing examples out there?

I have a modification of Andu's FTP stack that uploads/displays files on a
server. Anyone interested, let me know. My only request is that people let me
know of any good modifications to the stack. I don't have a server so if
someone can put it on their server, it may be more available.
Does anyone have a simple rolodex MC stack that stores/imports pictures as well as
basic info? I would like to develop a registry of pictures and be able to search the
registry easily. Any ideas? should the pictures be placed in the stack or retrieved
from the HD or a server by the stack?

I have 26 buttons arranged in a row over their respective fields(ie
spreadsheet). When I hilite a button, I would like it to show its name and
show it as "Y". When the shift key is down, I would like it to show its name
and show it as "X". Multiple buttons can be hilited as "X" or "Y". Any

My spreadsheet has been improved in the following manner:
-The multiple scrolling fields are now grouped and the size of the group can
be altered with a "sizer" button.
-Custom
Unless I understand otherwise, GROUP properties should also contain a resizable
option, IMHO.

Does anyone have a handler to change the size of a group (height and width)
using a mouseDown or mouseDrag(?) type of command. I have several fields
grouped together. I want a button or other object that toggles the size of
this group to adjust for the diferent sizes of user computer screens.

OK, here is a quick, dirty, and admittedly untested idea. You need a quick
export. That means that handling each item of data individually is not
practical.
While we think of rows and columns within the stack,
I have an "excel-like" spreadsheet Metacard stack with 26 multiple scrolling
fields and 1000 lines of data. The "export" function takes several minutes to
work! My script is:

write content to file filePath
close file filePath
end writeFile
How do you password protect a Metacard stack like you can with HyperCard so
that only the user that knows the password can open the stack (I am not
refering to reading the scripts).
