that the others are making up (Bessy and Elliot) are just not true, either in

Hi List,
I'm afraid I cannot take anymore requests for the posters at this current time as I just spent close to $70 on shipping which is more then half of my current paycheckand still need a bit of cash to get meteorites for my April 18th talk. If you did not get to me in time do not worry as
Go to Cabelas.com They sell excellent de-humidifier cannisters that I have
used for many years for my guns and meteorites. And though I live in Arizona
we do use evaporative coolers in the summer which pump gallons of moisture
into the house to cool it.
Search on the Cabelas site by item number

I have a friend that lives along the coast of
Maryland near the Chesapeake bay. He is an avid duck hunter and swears by the
item below. It is called a Golden Rod. It is an electric De-Humidifier for Guns.
I have not used them for my weapons or meteorites. They can be found at

Which is the best way to put the light bulbs, would it be on top or on
bottom shelves? Would the nightlight bulb be enough to draw out the
moisture?

Hi Dennis and all,
Besides the golden rod (which I recommend highly) is to have a case with
small, low

Dear Listees;
I seek out an adventurous sort of person that lives in the Lincoln,

Hi Tom,
If I had a choice it would be on the bottom as the heat rises and circulates. That is
where the golden rod is to be placed in a gun safe. Light bulb would depend on volume
in a case (or curio cabinet). What I would do is to place a thermometer on a central
shelf or in a case and monitor

The 57 Cubic ft model comes in a can. It has an indicator on the top that
changes color when it is time to re-charge it. It goes in a warm oven for a
couple of hours and its ready to go. My guns are rust free in their cabinet.
My meteorites sit in a display case on top of our entertainment

Wabar tektites, or Wabar pearls as they are usually known, are small
beads of glass from the Wabar meteorite impact. I own one that is glassy
black, about the size

Hello Marcin and List,
You'll find some useful background info in:
NORTON O.R. (1998) Rocks From Space II, pp. 143-145: Wabar Crater Field.
or if necessary a more thorough treatment of the subject
