true platform with a simple to understand and consume HTTP API for
interacting with. This does not have the same constraints around meetings

mifos at present doesnt have any real 'reschedule' capabilities for a
given loan. The user is expected to flag loan as closed-rescheduled.

As kay says, at present that would have to be done manualy in mifos
but if you could provide more detail around what your client would
like to happen around automatic penalties we could create a jira issue
for it and schedule it for a future release.

As far as i understand this is something that is the norm on mifos.
Also noticed you are on 1.3.x version, there have been lots of improvements
added since then, it might be worth stepping through the upgrades to latest
stable version of mifos or are you locked on 1.3 for a reason?
