I don't recall the exact exact rule as it is one shared by all OpenBSD
daemon through the common lexer, but basically if the string starts w/
a special character or contains some special ones, you need quotes:
table foobar /etc/mail/aliases
^ not a valid way to begin a strin
When is it required for using quotation marks in smtpd.conf?
I was just noticing smtpd.conf(5) has examples using quotation marks,
such as:
action "local_mail" mbox alias
filter "dkimsign" proc-exec "filter-dkimsign -d -s \
-k /etc/mail/dkim/private.key" user _dkimsign group _dkimsi
