agh! i can't believe people are so into this movie. i was s
disappointed in it. i just saw it tonite, and the second it ended everyone
around me was laughing, including myself. we were like, "are you SERIOUS?"
that was one shrewd bit of marketing, i guess. not that it was bad, per se,
for me it was more of a groundbreaking film rather than a scary movie.

Well...I must jump in on this thread.
Whoever gave out props to "Think(let tomorrow bee)" by SeBADoh is dead on as
far as sad, lovelorn songs go. There are a few others that need
mentions...maybe someone will go out and check them out.
The first is "Have You Forgotten" by Red House Painters(alt
I can dig that your selling the cds and a lot of time & effort goes into
it--buying the cdrs, burning 'em, mailing them...but $13 is a lot of money.
bootlegging in my opinion has always been about fans trading tapes and
stuff, like the many people that post mp3s for free whenever possible.

okso we have established that it was wrong and all that and any profit
margin is wrong (this is a fine line, if you consider a new bootleg in
exchange a profit as well I.E. trading tapes) but just for the record it
wasn't 9$ worth of my time. CD-R's for your computer are like 2$ but I

Funny thing, fyi:
I was looking through the monotonous clothing at the American Eagle
Outfitters at a local mall today and then all of a sudden, after some
Matchbox 20 song... low and behold, Buggin' by the Flaming Lips starting
playing.
In response to those trying to profit off their cd burners I have one as
well but would never charge over the cost for the disc and shipping for
anyone for a disc. I will take offers though. I also have the mp3's that
were posted a while ago converted to wave files and burned on disc. I
might be a

i agree with the originator as well -- 'think' is
not only did they play flaming lips, but if you would have stayed for a
couple more minutes you would have heard some Built To Spill. I was kinda
disturbed. Oh well, I guess it was nice to listen to.

as far as sad songs go (maybe a bit late on this topic) i'd have to say,
without a doubt "katy song" by red house painters. the lyrics, the music,
the plaintive, yearning cry that permeates the last 3 or so minutes of the
song unt
