every show that i have ever seen at the troc, they have checked me for things. once
they found my cassette recorder and took it, but gave it back after the show.
also, for you smokers going to troc shows now:

Actually I was wondering the same thing. I was just going to buy one of
those disposables and hide it in my boot, and if your a girl they barely
even touch you before you go in (especially for a built to spill show...)
Are they sold out yet? I am lazy.

they dont. but you can sneak them in if its small or if you can hide it
inbetween folders or something thats how i always got mine is by putting it
in my bag inbetween folders so that if and when they do look in your bag and
do the lazy search they dont see it.

Frank Black opened a few dates tor PJ last year too, so its
pretty lame but not a terminal move. Anyway, nobody that goes to those shows
even watches the opening band, theyre too busy talking mom into buying the
$40 T-shirts and pondering the artistic impact of No Doubt. "Modest Who, I heard
i'm going to the built to spill show on saturday but i havent been to the
troc since the beck show in 96, so i cant remember if they let you bring
cameras in...does anyone know?
