Book - "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud - A comic book about how
comic books "work". I have absolutely no interest in comics whatsoever, but
this is easily the most fascinating book I've ever read. If you have any
interest in art and how the human mind works, you REALLY should check it
out.

okay the last book i read was "DANCING QUEEN" by lisa carver. it was
entertaining..but i think the more recent writings ive read by her are much better
than whats in this book..but still i highly reccomend this. its all essays about her
"white trash" upbringings..but she never writes in a mean way

No lie, Hot Snakes rolls the best of Drive Like Jehu & Pitchfork w/
a little extra that'll rock anyone's sensibilities.
