As suggested by Geoff and Stas, I am trying out modperl2.. Now Ihave
somequestions:
i)with Apache::CommandServer(can be found at http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/user/overview/overview.html#toc_Protocol_Modules_with_mod_perl_2_0),
I setup everything according to the guide..but
Sounds good. Thanks for the help. I will patch my copy. Will all MP1
functionality be migrating over to MP2? In particular the PerlHandler
Apache::Status functionality.

I've placed a self-extracting archive, Perl-5.8-win32-bin.exe,
at ftp://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/pub/other/, which contains a Win32
binary distribution of Perl-5.8 and Apache-2.0.43, including
mod_perl-1.99_08. This was built using the sources provided by
ActiveState for build 804, and as such,
