I want to get rid of the pass-phrase dialog when linux reboot, I have done
according to article of mod-ssl faq,
cp server.key server.key.org
openssl rsa -in server.key.org -out server.key
chmod 400 server.key
but it is pity, when I restart linux, still there is a dialog box , let me
e password dialogbox is not reaching the apache-ssl.
1. Is there something special I need to do in the password application so
that the communication is
successful. ?
2. when I select the bulitin option for pass phrase dialog, nothing is
pormpted to the user...
is there a way I can make

Simple question... I finally have a version of Apache with Mod-SSL
running under Windows2000. Starting the server from the command line is
a snap. However, when I try to install it as a service, the so-called
Pass Phrase Dialog does not 'Pop-up', and prevents the server from
documentation at www.modssl.org.

There's a misconfiguration somewhere at either abm.at or netway.at, as
evidenced by the following subset of the mail headers. I've already
mailed both postmasters, but I've not gotten any response.

I found the answer for that question in the FAQ, and it says :
"If you point your server at this file it will not prompt you for a
pass-phrase"
But, what does it mean to "point your server at this file" ?
(we managed to create the "file")

I tried to get rid of the pass-phrase following instruction of mod_ssl faq.
In httpd.conf file I put:
SSLPassPhraseDialog exec:/usr/local/apache/conf/keys/server.key
After starting there was error in apache log and apache dies:
/usr/local/apache/conf/keys/server.key Permissio
