Not kosher bringing MPB into this. For one thing, I asked Rich about this when
those good auctions on linen-backing packages were offered during the MPB
special event and Rich confirmed that he had had work done by them in the past

I do apologize for a knee jerk reaction against MPB in the heat of the

JR, you're 100% correct. I can't see how MPB can be held responsible in

"One more thing. Of course Todd is ultimately correct that a

Actually - Eugene Hughes was pretty well known here on MoPo and MPT,
receiving high regard from many. Well, he stole $2,000 worth of my posters,
as well as the money to back and restore them
I won a bid for linenbacking also and paid Frank Santos for 10 posters. However, since he has no track record I only gave him 5 lesser valued posters as a trial run and brought them to his home. He lives approximately 1/2 hour drive from my home.
I have been in touch with him and he is in nee

Hi JR
I found another one in our image que (this is really fun!). There is
an insert for the 1985 movie Murphy's Romance, NSS No.
850117. This is actually the second to last entry in our NSS listing
to date, so this probably means that this film was released late in
1985. I'm still looking!
Great topic. If I am not mistaken, didnt Bruce buy the ultimate offical NSS date bank book with all the numbers and posters listed on EBAY a year ago? All the date should be in there including the last HS, Inserts, and so on...one amazing reference guide to all the collectors...it would be great t

It was actually closer to two years ago now.
My understanding is that he decided not to publish it after

Perhaps Bruce could explain the situation to the group.

Hello Nathalie and all,
Since Nathalie uses my frames for her items, the black
shades, etc., are a bit of overkill. The UV filtered plexiglass that I use in my
frames has more filtering than you would ever need in a normal home situation.
Since most of us aren't hanging our posters out o
Yes, indeed - we use Sue's frames (lots of them!) Love them.
But, paranoia is a hard thing to overcome.
Steven would really enjoy Sue's post because he's always trying to open
the shades. But I'm the one home during the day - and so - darkness
at noon.
