Sorry to hear this Walter. I agree about buying from reputable dealers. It
cuts much misery. There are sellers on this list who I've purchased from and
am quite happy. When your poster gets restored, it will be a beauty. I hope
that helps a little.

Hello Mopotolonians and Diane,
I made a comment:
1800-2200 sound a bit expensive for conservation and restoration.
If I could charge like that I'd be laughing all the way to eBay.
I don't work on 3 sheet, but I would check around should you get stuck

I was just traveling in the Boston area and borrowed a verizon wireless card

in the card, installed the software, and anywhere I was, I had high speed!
Now, this is not really high speed (more like low speed DSL), b
Howdy,
Some things:
The pics did not match description ... seller's
feedback history a little suspect ... close-up pics
were not provided of the scraggley-looking lower right
portion.
Some more things:
If you're gonna provide the seller's private emails
verbatim, provide your own private email
My apologies. The person who sent me an unsolicited email with 14 jpg
attachments is not a member of Mopo, as I had thought. I made an incorrect
assumption because it arrived at the same time as a whole batch of Mopo emails.
My mistake.

OH Zeev I totally know, I was simply giving examples of some good people, I
certainly did not imply that others like you are not good people.

Hello Walter
I'm sure there are a few more honest dealers around, members of MOPO or
otherwise, in addition to the 5 you've mentioned. The sky is not exactly
falling, yet.

Same here. I don't sell many posters, mostly concert related stuff. I've been collecting posters for about 20+ years now and eventually will start selling more of them. My userID on ebay is collectorpimp and I stand by 100% to customer satisfaction.

Hi Walter,
I am sorry to hear this. I actually saw the poster in person about six
weeks ago. I would say that the pictures contradict the description.
Flat and clean ???
Clearly the pictures show a very dirty poster and quite bumpy from the
Kraft backing.

For starters, don't buy from any ebay seller with poor feedback.
My definition of poor feedback is a total feedback score >100 with positive
feedback <98.5%.
This will weed out many of the least reliable/trustworthy/capable individuals.

Walter: That poster is in horrendous condition. Almost looks like it was in
a fire. There's no excuse for being as evasive as the dealer was. Thanks for
bringing it to our attention.
Do posters cost that much to restore? What is the plan, to repaint an entire
painting?

one seller: johnbarrymoreUK
sold me two photoplay editions. After the sale she wanted me to pay

please let me know. Unlike eBay.. I do care.. and I have the power to
