Well spotted Rich - didn't notice that for Third Man. Can confirm there
are other GB one-sheets with British censor certification, as well as ones
without, so that implies they were sometimes used domestically. Have to admit
I haven't noticed these domestic versions in domestic pressbooks
I'd hazard a hysterical guess that were any UK one sheets used domestically
that they would be primarily displayed in London Film offices at home, and
abroad in corporate offices that handled London Films (such as BEF in Australia

Michael, I for one certainly wouldn't overlook US posters of British films.
Third Man is a case in point. I would say the British posters for Third

illustration from the cover of a book. But they don't (recognizably)
I need stills or photos from the following films. Even if you don't want to
sell let me know and maybe we can work something out to your benefit for a
brief loan. Please reply directly to a.g.calv...@att.net Thanks, Tony

I don't know the answer to your question, Carlos, but I'd guess that the
country of origin first issue deal is partially responsible -- especially if
it's the same camel image. When you put a country of origin poster next to a
foreign poster that has the same image -- I think many collectors
