What hyperbolic drugs did you take? Did we see the same picture? It's an OK sci-fi pic with exceptional special effects, and a terrific performance by a child actor. Cruise soldiers thru capably and assures the producers they will get their money back. Tim Robbin's sequence almost pointless. S

I enjoyed the film. It was a rollercoaster ride. It didn't compare with the first nor did I think it was Spielberg's intention. The end was better in the original because it seemed to flow better. But despite that last third, it still was fun. The entrance of the aliens is not to be missed. S
