I am not sure what the research would show. On a personal level there has been
nothing more rewarding than looping with a class. I am a k/1 teacher who loops
her kids. You know the students, the students know you, and the rituals and
routines are established. There isn't any wasted time.

that I know my students are making gains because the mini-lessons are directly
related to what they are doing and they have true meaning to the students'
