I agree that classroom libraries are best but if you have a lot f ew teachers and money is an issue a bookroom can be a huge asset. Our teachers check out sets of leveled texts to use in their guided reading lessons and the students keep them in their book basket for several weeks some teachers

Do you have a book roon? You can support a lot classrooms with much less money. We have almost 2000 titles in our book room for grades K-5. We were able to add lots of leveled books for very little money with a single subscription to Reading A-Z. You can e-mail off list if you want more info.
