Do you have a book roon? You can support a lot classrooms with much less money.
We have almost 2000 titles in our book room for grades K-5. We were able to add
lots of leveled books for very little money with a single subscription to
Reading A-Z. You can e-mail off list if you want more info.

Subject: [MOSAIC] grant writing

Our goal this year is to have 300 books in every Language Arts
classroom. We have almost all first year and lateral entry teachers, so
they have a very limited library at this time. Does anyone know of any
good grants or resources for reaching our goal? Sue

Subject: [MOSAIC] HELP! I need help with leveling picture books for
thestrategies

Hi. I'm writing a grant for picture books for the different
strategies. I'd like to have a decent amount of these books in my
classroom library so that the students may read them too. Do you
know what picture books would be appropriate for second graders to
read independently? I'm getting my list from the documents on the
tools page, and the recommendations from RWM.

Thanks for your help!

Shannon
