I am a literacy coach working in a middle school in a district that is deeply
committed to MOT strategies, but our self-contained SPED population is not
making AYP, thus this requestWe are going to adopt a reading program...it
is just a matter of which one. I don't
I love to use the poems of Valerie Worth (All the Small Poems). I use them in
middle school. My favorites are Pumpkin and Fireworks. Give them the poems
without the title. Ask them to draw based on what they visualize. It is
great fun!
