I have a few thoughts here. One is that you can get
the 6 pack of "Should There Be Zoos?" directly from
Mondo for $39.00, and if you get other teachers who
would like a copy to split it, it could be quite
cheap. It is a fabulous piece.
Second, I agree with you about the "bargaining"
format
Please help me to understand persuasive texts and
persuasive writing. I love the book "I Wanna Iguana"
but it doesn't really seem to be a persuasive text as
much as a bargaining book format as I see it. I
thought that persuasive text should have reasons for
and against something. I see this book
We have Write Time for Kids and a Nonfiction kit from Time. They both have
sections for persuasive writing and they are current events sometimes.
