Yesterday, out of all the White-throated Sparrows, and the couple Field and Chipping Sparrows, I espied a lovely Vesper Sparrow bathing in our ground water. It even gave my son good looks at its pretty little red epaulet, white eye-ring, and white outer tail feathers as it flew. Lovely looks.
