I'm sure others in Hennepin are getting their foy orange birds today, too. Our
foy Baltimore Oriole, a male, arrived on our deck railing at 4:50 PM today.
Last year our first oriole arrived on May 30th.
I predict the Yankees lose tonight.

Today had our best backyard birding day in six years here in Eden Prairie (SW
Hennepin Cty) with 14 species of Warbler and a total of 54 species -- including
our foy hummingbird and a pair of catbirds. That early morning storm really
knocked then down to us. To my wife's displeasure they arrive
Ditto on the BALTIMORE ORIOLES -- our foy male also showed-up on our porch
railing this afternoon (And the jelly dish was empty!). Also had 5 species of
sparrow (Lincoln and Swamp included) and 5 species of warbler (Northern
Waterthrush and Nashville included) from our kitchen window during t
ty to open the box while it is in the lake.
Any one else have similar Bufflehead experience in Minnesota? I would expect
this has certainly happened before.

I probably shouldn't have buried our Red-shouldered sighting in the "Albino

"full" albino. We'll use that impressive-sounding "leucistic" word for it.
