20 when we arrived. NW corner of Murphy Hill park at back yard of 316 8th
street NE. Either walk through park to its west end, or park on 8th and walk
south on dirt alley next to 316.

As it has done the past few days, it flew in from the SE at 0945 to the ice
fishing shacks on the bay side of the Park Point recreation area. For at least
four consecutive days the gull has appeared in this way between 0930 and 1030
before being seen off and on during the rest of the day.

Six this morning by the entrance to the Summit cemetery in Morris along College
Ave. One adult male, one adult female (or imm male), and four juveniles feeding
on spruce cones. Like Friday'a birds in Grant Co, may have nested here, or
there's currently an irruption going on in western
spot on 250th St.
Only briefly seen as they ran across the road. Several shorebirds present but

Just to clarify what Mark said: while I was only able to hear an Eastern on the
recording he sent, it's still quite possible that there is a Western Wood-Pewee
present which isn't audible on Mark's recording. Hopefully more recordings are
forthcoming to confirm the ID.

It landed out of sight ½ mi to the west of here, maybe ½ mi S of CR 2. This
area is 8 mi E of Browns Valley.

ID of this relatively nondescript species. I heard
secondhand that it was heard later on Tuesday morning, but that there
apparently were no sightings yesterday. So updates on this bird's presence and
its ID would be helpful on this listservice.

Just received a call from Linda Sparling that she and Ken & Susan Schumacher
saw the tern flying around the spit on the MN side of Salt Lake at 2:35.

Pair found this afternoon with Jerry Pruett and Jeff Stephenson at Upper Sioux
Agency S P in the woods by the far end of the Riverside Campground. This is the
small campground reached via the main park entrance.

Just got a call from Deb Fellows that she is looking at the stilt now, 4 mi W
and 1 mi S of Tracy in a flooded field on the E side of 300th Ave. This is in
SE Lyon Co, 1 mi S of the US 14 & CR 9 jct.

here might have seen one. The best finds that I know of were Black-throated
Blue and Connecticut, and I also saw a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher which is rare in
NE Minn. With rain in the forecast through tomorrow morning (and perhaps more
fog), it could still be good on Thursday.
