A Barrow's Goldeneye and Arctic Tern (among other birds of note) were

Hello All,
Yesterday afternoon Cindy and I were getting our shots and meds at the Duluth
travel clinic for an upcoming trip to South Africa and had a few hours at Park
Point near the end of the day. Like Kim Mike we had a great deal of fun with
the numbers of warblers we encountered and a
Park Point had a slight fog and a little mist which made for a lot of migrant
warblers grounded feeding on all the trees and bushes along the point. I saw
19 species of warblers and if I include the Ovenbird that was in my garage I
saw 20 species for the day.
Here is a summary of the
After running into Mike Hendrickson at Park Point around 1:00 today, I
continued birding until 4:00 between Southworth Marsh and the old bath
house at the Recreation Area. Combining his species with the additional
ones I saw, there was a composite total of 24 warbler species in all.
Of the 26
I was lured into making a day for Park Point today. I missed out on several

Hello,
I moved to Duluth from Syracuse NY in February and birded Park Point in
Duluth for the first time this morning. What a great morning it was. I saw
11 species of warblers. They were swarming in the trees and bushes amidst
the fog and light rain. It reminded me of visiting Pt. Pelee on
