of Collischan Road near Red Wing. The birds were singing from the tree
tops. The day was still and gray. Ample layers of repellent kept the
mosquitoes for the most part off our skins, but could not muffle the buzz

I will be leading a MRVAC field trip this Sunday, June 11th at the Cannon
River Bottoms. Target birds include Cerulean Warbler, Acadian Flycatcher,
Ovenbird, Wood Thrush, and Yellow-billed Cuckoo, all of which have been
found on previous trips. We will meet at 7:30 at the trail head of thi
after the recent rains, boots might be a good idea. If conditions are bad
enough, we will go to another location.
