Doris Rubenstein asked me to post this:
Bald eagle on large nest in branch of tree overhanging HWY 55 about 2 miles
west of Medina Ballroom, north side of road. Drive slowly and you won't
miss it if the eagle is there; otherwise, you can't miss the huge nest.

hi to the group--I don't know if links are proper here so if not I apologize

interested, so here's the link
Hi everyone,
Each Monday on my day off I usually do a day trip to go birding. This Monday
the
weather is supposed to be great, but I'm quite torn as to where to go. I was
thinking between Lake City and Wabasha for Eagle viewing, but as the weather
warms are they still found there or might I
I'm hoping to go down to Wabasha again next week, and have had two
experiences there this winter with different results. I went in late December
and
had over 100 eagles, and got some nice pictures of them in-flight and in the
trees
near Lake City. However, a month later when I went in late
The staff of Eagle Bluff went on a bird hike and we found the following
birds:
American Robin
Eastern Bluebird
Wood Thrush
Blue Jay
American Crow
Baltimore Oriole
Red-winged Blackbird
Black-capped Chickadee
White-breasted Nuthatch
Gray Catbird
Song Sparrow
Field Sparrow
Chipping
Like others we've had lots of Bale Eagle action this year, but today took
the cake: while on the phone with my wife I watched a string of 5 BALD
EAGLES, only feet apart, drift off the lake (Red Rock) and low over our
house. All five birds were at various stages of immaturity. A few seconds
later
I saw an immature bald eagle in the road ditch feeding on a carcass on March
18. The siting was a few miles west of North Branch, MN.

Good afternoon,
Yesterday at about 11:15 I first watched a lone eagle in combat with
another bird which I presume was a hawk. They were above the Van Paper Company
- Pearson Candy Company complex between West 7th Street and Shepard Road,
[Rankin is the cross street,] between 300 and 500
Good afternoon,
Observed a solo eagle at 8:50a at appx. 500' above the intersection of
Alton and W. 7th. St.
They're great!
Happy viewing,
Lee

Slow day but once the wind stopped I got to add another lifer for me:
Mourning Warbler (beautiful and secretive - got long good looks - nice
bib)
This area is starting to pick up but only single birds for the most
part. Some warblers handing relatively low but the ones up in the
canopy
A walk along the paved trail to Eagle Lake and then the unpaved trail
running south of Pike Lake:
BG Gnatchatcher chasing harassing a Cowbird (nice!)
possible Yellow Warbler (habitat is right)
Blue headed Vireo
Nashville Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Palm Warbler
many Cedar Waxwing
many yellow-rumps
I'm not sure if this was posted on here before but, if it was I apologize for
the double post.
Eagle cam which I thought was kind of neat

Today there were over 100 eagles in the trees on the ice etc. in a
very concentrated area. This would be a great opportunity for
photographers. Folks say they have been there most of the week. So
no guarantees but if you want to try to find it, take WI Hwy 35 to
88. Turn on to 88
