Indeed, an adult pair was very much present a few days ago just west of the
public ramp on river.

It was great to see a fledge and parent Bald Eagle this morning along the
Mississippi this morning after a spring of flu. In the perfect world of my
imagination they would be awaiting the return of the other parent who had gone
fishin’.

This afternoon I saw about 85 eagles 7.5 - 8.0 miles east of Royalton on Nature
Rd. There are some chicken barns around there. Many were in the trees and many
flying.

The resident pair of Bald Eagles at Farrell WPA/Sweetwater just south of County

Lac qui Parle County are either laying or incubating. Their nest is in a
cottonwood and is
visible through a scope from County Road 9, due south of Bolland Slough.
I just saw the eagle pair at their nest on I -494 at Bryant Lake. This is
just north of exit 11C.
Also, the pair is back at their nest on Gray's Baý, can be seen from the
east side of Hennepin County 101.

Hi All--
On Halloween, Erika and I watched interesting Bald Eagle behavior along the
Cannon River in Dakota Co. in the Carleton College arboretum. An apparent
pair perched in trees over the river until a first-year eagle flew
overhead. The pair watched the flying bird. Both birds loudly called. Th

After replenishing the carp piles Friday, as many as 8 adult and
subadult Bald Eagles were present today.

Good afternoon,
I watched two eagles, and possibly a third, at 11a. They were riding the
currents at about 700', between W. 7th Street and Sheperd Road near the
Springfield intersection.
Happy birding,

My husband & I went along the Mississippi River from St. Paul to Winona
Sunday, 2/14 & back north the Wisconsin way Monday, 2/15. We saw 150
Bald Eagles, 1 Golden Eagle (on the ice & in the air on the north of the
Alma Lock & Dam), 10 swans (4 @ Reeds Landing & 6 at Prescott), a

Following the post about Bald Eagles - Thursday near Virginia I saw 2
crows flying in formation and doing some acrobatics. I thought
perhaps they were practicing for the Thunderbirds. Seems early and
cold, but maybe it is getting time for Cupid.

In response to the person that observed copulation behavior with Bald Eagles
in White Bear...
I observed similar behavior with a pair of Bald Eagles in Edina last week, tho
it
was not a successful copulation, only an attempt by the male which was
refused by the female. Its courting season!

We have not seen the eagles in the tree or on the nest at Highway 36 & 61
for about two weeks. It could be we just have had bad timing, I hope that
is the case. Has anyone seen them recently? I sure hope nothing has
happened to either of them, they had been sitting on the nest but lately

Most of the Red Rock eagles were gone this morning. I counted about 15 -
almost all immatures in groups of 3 - 4. It's interesting that the last of the
ice
also disappeared last night. Meanwhile, new birds have arrived. Yesterday
evening, I saw two egrets, a pelican and a nice variety of ducks,
This morning, between 8 - 9 at Red Rock Lake (SE corner, Ramsey Co), I saw
fewer eagles than last week, but still well over 50. I was particularly
impressed by a single tree which held 23 bald eagles, most of them mature. I
wonder why so many mature eagles are still roosting together instead o
Yesterday while fishing on S. Center Lake in Lindstrom/Center City, there
were a pair of adult Eagles frequently flying overhead, a lovely sight on
such a warm spring day while there's still over 2 ft of ice!!
Must be a nest in the area... Anyone know where it is?

There are (3-4 PM) at least a dozen eagles soaring over the Mississippi just
downstream from Lock and Dam 2 in Hastings. When not soaring, they are sitting
on the south side of the river in a grove of trees between the river and the
road. Fishing appears to be good.

I haven't seen any recent posts regarding eagles at Colville Park. Has there
