A Bald Eagle just flushed the gulls to the south; it looked like the
Glaucous flew upriver toward Hastings, but I was looking into the sun. I
wouldn’t be surprised if the Glaucous returns.

The Lesser Goldfinch was spotted and photographed on Sunday, December 8 at

The Meeker County EURASIAN TREE SPARROW was seen again today in my yard at my
feeders at about 10:00, 11:15, 12:15, 1:00, and 1:30 associating with House
Sparrows. This was the first day I was able to stay home all day and observe. I

This is a day late, but there may be a change in the status of the Lilydale
eagle nests. The Great-horned Owl was still in her adopted nest. However,

As of today there are now 83 reported Northern Hawk Owls for northern
Minnesota. The last time I updated the map there were 65 reported owls and
