I wouldn't say that it was only eye candy value! When you're using the
tabs it's sometimes easy to get confused, especailly when people use
innapropriate tags. This is usability! Nice feature.

I've tried re-installing N4.7 and it made no difference.

Hi
I had installed Mozilla 0.9.5 and The SUN JDK 1.3.
This Configuration workes without any problems, but since a few days i get
allways a message "Load Applet" but nothing happened.
I do not change anything on mozilla or JAVA ( because the user i use do not
have rights to do that )
What to do?
I was going to some https pages from different websites on the Win32
11/19 build, and I noticed that the Mozilla lock icon wasn't locked.
Clicking on it showed that the pages' identity and encryption weren't
working. Reloading the page wasn't working (not that I should have to
do this anyway).

A lot of oppinions has been expressed with regard to if the favicon should
be default on or off since it might spam webservers with requests to a
non-existing file.
It would be really interesting to get some hard numbers on this. Just
looking at the current logs will not really say anything since

The icon is not cached "forever". It simply has no specified
expiration. That just means it won't be doomed based only off some
expiration date. It can still be removed from the cache as the cache
fills up and needs to evict items.

But how/when is the absence of a file evicted? It would seem like a very
small gain for the cache-system to throw out since it would take up very few

Well, here I am, working with 2001112008 and a buggy news client.

Speaking of really long versioning, how exactly are the builds numbered? Any

Hi,
When I delete a mail from imap server or local folder,
it seems that netscape dose not really delete it, in stead,
it delete something so I can not see that mail in netscape
but my mailbox become larger and larger.
How can netscape delete the mail really for me?

Hi,
I just got 0.9.6 and noticed that when I open a new tab, it doesn't go
to my home page like it does when I start up Mozilla. I looked in the
preferences, but couldn't find anywhere I can configure this. Can
anyone tell me where I can set this up?
Thanks in advance.

I just installed Mozilla as Administrator and went back to my PowerUser
account.
Oddly enough, I don\'t see the icons on the URL bar as I usually do with
the nightly versions...
Is anyone else seeing this?
When I open http://www.mozilla.org/ though, I do see the icon. But not
