You may have dynamic queues created in any queue manager where you have
the correct authorities. There is no distinction as to whether the
queue managers are on the same server or if they are distributed.
The main issue in ReplyToQ processing is that the dynamically created

Hi all,
For those of you still a little confused about the 5.3 GA1 and GA2 releases
here's a note I got from our Release Planner prompted by the questions

The Windows, AIX, Solaris and HP-UX WebSphere MQ V5.3 products were first

Hi Saraswathy,
How are you trying to start CKTI? We ran into the same problem trying to start the CKTI transaction from another transaction, and had an error. You are in a hung condition at this point.

The October release is a service upgrade to the June release,
it is not a
new version. We have not released a new product called
V5.3.1, although there may have been some confusion on the
naming on our electronic software download site
OK Chris,
you sound confident. I think we'll move on with it.

Saraswathy,
We didn't have a problem starting CKTI via CKQC. This was a problem that occurred from a written transaction. Could you be encountering a security problem?

I've not tried putting the broker on another machine, but I know there are
tuning parameters you put into the qm.ini file which are used by the
broker. So, I believe it must be on the same box as the queue manager.

What CCSID are you setting in the MQMD (to describe the RFH2) ? The

I have a client who is using a Storage Area Network for storing their
