Hello, MindBend,
In addition to the Sender channel, you also need to define a Receiver
channel with the same exact name on the other queue manager.
So in addition to the SDR channel, QMGR1.TO.QMGR2 (or however you named it)
on QMGR1, you also need a RVCR channel on QMGR2 called QMGR1.TO.QMGR2.

Peter, thanx for your reply. One issue we are facing is that there are qmgrs
outside our influence and since they are on platforms not under our control,
we have limited room to manoever. Basically we can't do things like making
them partial or full repositories, have them leave and then return to
Probably the biggest issue will be that the repositories will have the DNS
names of the AIX#1 and #2 servers for all the channels.
Also, you will have duplicate entries for the queue managers, since you will
be recreating the QMs on AIX#3 with the same names.
You might want to:
Make QM1 and QM2

You should be able to create a larger pageset 3 (with a different name),

This topic was discussed a couple of years ago, if I recall correctly. If
you can determine the number of extents created per day, you should be able
to compute when you approach the max value. In all likelihood, it will be
a very long time before that happens, or you need to tune your log sizes
