They added a ton of crap to the servers that add no business value, and

If they want to get rid of the gui, why do they keep redesigning it?
Why not just leave it alone?

One of the best arguments to keep them away from SQL...
If it sits on their server it chews up resources that you have to pay for
(cpu licensing)
If it is on a dedicated server there is no SQL licensing costs as SCCM is
licensed as "SCCM with SQL technology"
Once I pointed that out to management

DP selection is not load balanced or anything. Are these in the same

CM12 is designed to do the processing client side, not server side. Put the
requirements in the app, not the collection. You are not using SCCM the way
it was designed to be used, hence the poor results.

Yes, I doubt we would be able to deploy anything. Seems like every month

Find all the reg keys and make a reg file and import that during the task

What I do is open up the existing boot image and then open the SMSPROV.log
in cmtrace. THEN click on the drivers tab of the boot image. Once you can
see all of the drivers go to cmtrace and pause it.
open the smsprov.log
Open the boot image.
Find the line like this
select all
I have a powershell script that will move the drivers from one boot image
to another.
It is not good powershell, you have to use a SQL query and Excel to
actually make the powershell commands, but I can give you what I have.

Keeps the compliance reports very up to date
If somone goes and installs a new version of .net or enables a new server

Antivirus products take a hash of the files as the access and scan them.
When the definition file gets updated the hash table gets deleted out of
memory. This makes the AV product scan all of the files it is accessing
using the new Definition file.
That can cause a slowdown.
Move the time the
