That is essentially the config I have running.
First you have to configure usb on the Zaurus. Mine looks like this:
usbd0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 40:00:01:00:00:01
inet addr:192.168.129.201 Bcast:192.168.129.255
Mask:255.255.255.0
If you configure and up it it should come up.
I don't run OpenZaurus myself (Familiar/Opie on an iPaq) but I think
that http://www.linux-migration.org/ch05s08.html describes it. I
understand the RedHat 9 kernel is ok as shipped (no changes required)
but you have to add CDCEther to /etc/hotplug/blacklist.
Once you have networking set up you ca
I am running redhat 9 and install the rpm for multisync. My zarus 5500
runs open zaurus 3.2.
I cant seem to get the two to talk, what is needed to just ping the
zaurus from my laptop to the usbcradle.
thanks

I took everyones advice and removed all the multisync rpms. I grabbed
teh cvs snapshot and was able to install multisync.
When i try to build the evo plugin, that is where i get those errors.
What is weird it that it is complaining about not finding lingnomeui 2
but i have that installed.

Sorry, I thought that was clear: If I tell you to install some
devel-packages, then you'll need to build the source yourself.
I've been compiling from the cvs-version, but I think I'm gonna do some
rpms for fedora, maybe to
Yes, you need evolution-devel as well. Actually, as soon as the compile
process complains about something missing, try to find the corresponding
-devel package.

I was able to compile and install myltisync from source and it starts
fine.
When trying to run the autogen.sh script in the evolution plugin
directory I get these errors:

Hi,
First of all, you want to use the Gnome-2 version (not gnome1) of
MultiSync. Second, I've seen reports that the rpms cannot be installed
on Fedora Core 1, so you'll have to compile the source.
Or, you can wait a week, when we (hopefully) release MultiSync 0.81.
This release will probably incl
Hi,
I am trying to run multisync for the first time. I am wanting to sync
my ipaq with PocketPC2002 to evolution 1.5 on Fedora Core 1.
I downloaded the RPMs and installed the multisync RPM no problem.
I tried to install the multisync-evolution plugin and get the following
error:
