I have had some degree of success in finding an answer.
I had some input from people to try things that didn't seem to work, when they
should have.
What ultimately worked was I followed the instructions and installed from this

Hi,
I've been running mutt, for some time now, on my older powerpc based mac. I
recently got a new mac, that runs OS X Yosemite. I compiled mutt 1.5.23, the
same as i had compiled it, for my old machine and brought all my prefs over. I
recompiled urlview, and brought over the .urlview file
I correct the issue with the make install not working. (I created the man and
man1 directories and then the make install command completed.)
i will look to see if this does anything.
Thanks for everyones help!
Russ
Nope, just tried it. It didn't work!
Thanks,

Hi All,
After doing the touch command, and not seeing any results, i look this morning

I wouldn't have thought a touch could have caused that, but there they are.

Hi,
I set a wrong password and set the smtp authentication to cram-md5.
Here is, what i think, is the relevant part of the muttdebug file, attached.

Hi again,
I got the lock off my mail, so i am back up and running.
I still cannot generate a muttdebug file. I have checked and recompiled my
versions of mutt. I have started mutt with the -d4 parameter, but still nothing.
Thanks again to everyone!

Hi Willy,
I got the +DEBUG when i ran that command.
When i went to my ~ directory, and did the touch command, nothing happened.

Hi Tom and all,
I tried using the -d option, (i used -d4) when i started mutt, but i STILL
didn't get a .muttdebug file. I tried the locate command as was also suggested
and it returned nothing.
So i'm still trying.
Thanks everyone!

Hi,
I was just wondering. In the Apple email tool, there was a bounce command that
would reply to a given email(s) and make them look like they had bounced, to
the original sender.
Is there a similar command or way to do that in mutt?
Thanks,

I don't know about the addressbook part, but as far as urlview goes, my
quesiton is, did you recompile urlview for Snow Leopard. (I don't have snow
