It's absolutely brilliant, and I can't thank you enough! :)
Hello
I need to know if the latest release...
- syncs with Android well or is still a bit young
- is a worthy replacement for Outlook (ie. implements Conctacts,
Calendar, and Notes in addition to Tasks), or only handles Tasks
Thank you.

It syncs well with Android, though not entirely automated/automatable, but
is not trying to be a replacement for Outlook. It does, however, sync with
Outlook, but I've not tried syncing both Outlook and Android.
I and someone else here use gSyncIt to sync Outlook Calendar and Contacts
to Google
I agree with you Lisa, (as the someone else here using gSyncit)
I tried to sync with outlook, but it's then a complete [sorry I don't know
the term for stuff completely disordered], because projects became
outlook categories, ther is no subtask, so complete path is in each task,

I agree, and have an exemple request :
I'd like to set a particular format to task featuring those criterias:
- task has incomplete subtasks
- those incomplete subtasks are available
- those available incomplete subtasks contain the word Full Name: in the
note
Is that possible ?

Hi,
The simple question. Why it's impossible to choose one of those additional
views from More views in widget MLO View setting?
I'd like to set it to Due next 7 Days to see my week tasks and meetings
like in organiser.

Are you trying to filter, or format?
If you are using advanced filtering, are you trying to show the parent of
such subtasks, or the subtasks?

Do you know about Move mode on Android? It does help some with the Inbox
issue, though adding Context is a lot of taps.
I have had to re-work my use model a bit to make Android useful, though not
quite as bad as I thought. (Those of you on the beta group will remember my

Agreed, this annoys me too, a lot. It's just not intuitive to add to the
top of a list.
I thought there was a strangeness in MLO desktop. (maybe android, haven't
checked), where adding when the task is closed (Alt-Ins) adds to the
bottom, but I'm not seeing it in whatever beta I'm running -- am I
I’m not sure of the details but I know that my inbox has the oldest stuff in
the middle with some new items at the top and some at the bottom. I agree
that the correct process is always to add to the bottom.

I'm trying to format, not filter.
To manage contact-related tasks, I usually drag a contact from outlook, and
I'd like this contact to be bold if something in it's subtree is to do.
More generally speaking, I think I don't understand the use of sub-rules vs
rules, as I don't see any difference.
Yes I know the move mode, but I find it tedious. (vs the desktop move,
which is very powerfull as it gives you the plain tree to scroll and then
clic on).

I must admit, I'm a bit disappointed I have to buy the iPhone app in

Is the development team really comfortable giving the impression they don't

I think we need to keep things in perspective here. First, there have been
updates and lots of them - for the mobile platforms. And personally, I'm
very glad that's where the latest updates have been landing. MLO is my LIFE

Have you tried adjusting the Importance value? You mention that the tasks are
more important than some others so that may be something to look at. The due
date affects urgency vs importance. Another option is to create a custom view
and change the sort order of your list.

When I first tried Android move I found it tedious as the only way I was
moving tasks was by tap-tap-tapping on the arrow icons. That was before the
people on this list showed me how to do the drag-and-drop using the drag
handles that appear at the right edge of each task when in move mode.
