Dwight, the webpage you gave does not apply to or work with my phone (Note 9).
The fact that the problem resolved when I disabled and restarted Google app,
and then returned, perhaps after the Google app updated to the latest version,
highlights it is to do with the link between MLO and Google a
Hello,
when I choose the views "All tasks" MLO display the folder also if
this folder is empty.
Is there a way not to display the folder if it is empty?
Thanks.

Hi all
I still don't get how the "Setup Advanced filtering" dialog is supposed to
work (Windows). Let's say, I want to create a rule like this (SQLish
notation):
( dueDate <= today OR startDate <= today OR starred = true ) AND
hasNextReview = false
I learned that the booleans work with sib
Hello Luca,
is a system folder. It cannot be permanently removed. Even if you
delete , it can be automatically restored under certain conditions. For
example, if you open the Inbox view and create a task in it, then go back
to the "All Tasks" view, you will see the newly appeared folder.

Hello Luca,
The answer is "Yes!" With advanced filters, you can do *almost *anything,
if you think through the logic of the filter.
If you want an All Tasks view which hides the inbox when it's empty, you
can use the All Tasks view and add the following Advanced Filters (using

Hello André.
It's me - thanks for the name-check!
You've spotted the oddity with adding a set of subrules. When you click
"Add subrule", it effectively changes your current rule into the
open-bracket to group your subrules, wiping out any parameters you'd
started entering into that rule. The t
Edit to my previous post: moving is possible!

Hi Stéph
"Name-check" needs some explanation ;-)
Thanks a ton for your explanation. It works, but it's far from intuitive. I
think you agree that some improvements here would be awesome - like I said:
some kind of query language, or at least the possibility to move things
around.
Anyway, it w
Stéph, brilliant explanation.
André,I believe that the counter-intuitive part of this is just about the
grouping and order of operations used to combine multiple criteria. You
seem to have a good command of the filters and parameters involved in the
construction of individual parameters. I'd l
Hi Folks,
Just wondering if there is a native solution (MLO chrome extension) that
allows for adding to the inbox from desktop chrome browser?

I am using version 5 on a Laptop with a touch screen. I use the touch
screen most of the time to scroll and I often move the task my finger is on
instead of scrolling the who list.
Is there a way to disable or toggle so that when I am moving up and down, I
don't move the task but instead scrol
One more thought: André, have you tried running MLO on your phone? The
filter editor on that platform is newer and easier to use; views built on
the phone can be exported and then imported to your computer.

Agree that this should be corrected. The normal, intuitive way of working
on a touch screen is for swipe up and down to scroll. To select and move an
item in the list, it should be necessary to touch and hold the item for 1/2
second, until you get some kind of visual feedback that you've selecte
