Correct, Views don't sync automatically to other devices, as they are separate from the MLO file. However, you can export a View (with filter and zoom) which you've created on one device, email it to yourself and then send it to MLO on the other device. On Thursday, 24 March 2022 at 19:39:56 U

Great, glad it worked for you :) Personally I don't move projects. I leave them in-situ and mark the top-level item of the project both Suspended and Hide in To do but part of my reason for that is that I rely heavily on inherited contexts so moving things around can sometimes add more complic

By "filters" I think you mean Views. No, Views do not sync between desk and mobile. On Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 3:39:56 PM UTC-4 ckle...@gmail.com wrote: > My problem might be that filters don't sync to other devices. I seem > to have been required to set up the view filter for both my tabl

My problem might be that filters don't sync to other devices. I seem to have been required to set up the view filter for both my tablet and my mobile phone. Is that the case? Do views not sync across devices? BTW, the filter does seem to be working as expected. On Thu, Mar 24, 2022 at 2:42 PM Joe

Hi, I'm confused. The filter that Stéph proposed for you (ProjectStatus <> "Suspended") does not purport to test the task status but rather to test the status of the project of which the task is a part. You appear to be reporting that the filter inappropriately te

Hello ckle... You can set up different advanced filters for the parents and children of an item which matches a filter, using the "Config" button next to the "ShowHierarchy" parameter. Does that help? If you can give me an example of an outline structure and how you want to filter it, I'm sur

Hi! I just wanted to give an update. I was able to add a filter to the Active Actions view which excluded tasks that were "Suspended." Sadly, this does not work down the hierarchy. If I suspend a project, for example, its tasks will still show up in the Active Actions list. And it seems there i

Unfortunately, there's next to no automation or linkage between different task properties - project status has no effect on task completion or hidden status. There have been previous conversations where some people have wanted to have a live task in a not-started project, for pre-project work.
