Is it possible to have a slave on machine M1 synchronizing with a master
on another machine M2 while the master on the first machine M1 does not

- (MySQL is installed on both servers.)
- On the master GRANT FILE ON .* TO replicater@ IDENTIFIED BY 'replicater';
- Stop MySQL on both servers.
- Be sure you have two identical databases on each server. (Copy from one to the other
if needed. - check all the access rights stuff.)
