(GLIBC_2.0)
rpm -qa shows I have glibc-2.0.7-29 but no libpthread.
Why is at least the first dependancy not covered by the
version of glibc installed?
When I upgrade/install these, what else is going to break?

I will do that now,
id not run. Checking the /var/lib/mysql
directory the file contained:
Fatal error: Can't change to run as user 'mysql' ; Please
check that the user exists!
The user does exist and I can su to user mysql, home
directory of /var/lib/mysql.
Were have I gone wrong.
