I installed a mysql server on my Mac using homebrew.
$ mysql --version
mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.91, for apple-darwin10.0 (i386) using
EditLine wrapper
When trying to start it I get
$ mysql.server start

Here is a copy of the my.cnf file
[mysqld]
datadir=/var/lib/mysql
socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
[mysql.server]
user=mysql
basedir=/var/lib
[safe_mysqld]

OK, there really is nothing more to my install, installe
dd reason I'm feeling like the skip-innodb entry is not
