I don't think this is a bug, you probably choose TINYINT datatype for the column, and the maximum value a TINYINT column can have is 127, so anything over 127 will automatically be changed to 127 silently by MySQL. Choose an appropriate column datatype for your field. See: http://www.mysql.com/doc
