this happening in recent versions, and even if we did, it would need to
be reproduced and a backtrace caught on a 0.24, and preferrably 0.25

Howdy, and thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu by opening this
ticket. It looks like part of your myth system is not upgrading because
of some dependencies. You might try seeing what types of actions "sudo
apt-get dist-upgrade" or Synaptic wants to perform - one of those two
might resolve
