Hi all,
I have a FC3 box running myth 0.81 on KDE. I'm now trying to get it to
start up automatically on bootup but I'm only having partial luck. I
used the init scripts from contrib to start up mythbackend during bootup
and that works fine. I've tried following the directions on Jarod

I've gotten a HD-3000 and a PVR-350 to work properly together, but I'm
using the DVB drivers for the HD-3000, not the v4l ones. The only
problem I currently have is that the program data doesn't match the
channels on the PVR-350 (see my e-mail from last night for the details).
Here's the rundown
Hi all,
I'm putting the finishing touches on my mythtv box which has both a
HD-3000 and a WinTV PVR-350 in it, and I'm using the LxM channel guide
data. I've set up 2 different lineups, one for digital cable that
covers what my HD-3000 receives and one for analog cable to go with the
PVR-350

Hi all,
First, my setup:
Fedora Core 3 (64-bit) running on an AMD Opteron w/ an HD-3000 card and
Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250. All latest Fedora updates installed. Running
a custom built 2.6.12.2 kernel to ensure the HD-3000 DVB drivers are
included. Running mythtv-0.18.1 built from sources & l

And you can get dvb-apps from http://www.linuxtv.org. Don't just
download the tarball in the downloads directory however. Make sure you
get the dvb-apps tree from CVS, as that's much more up-to-date.

If you hang out over at the pchdtv forums you'll probably find that many
people who want to use DVB have started using the 2.6.12-rc3 & later
kernels

Thanks! What kind of TV do you have?
This is very wierd. I just took your settings to create a new config
for my machine and it appeared to work the first time I restarted X but
hasn't worked since then. I can't see any reason for it.
/var/log/Xorg.0.log shows it seems to be work
Hi all,
I'm building up a mythtv box using Fedora Core 3 and have a GeForce FX
5200 video adapter installed. I have X running with a regular monitor
hooked up to the PC output and the DVI output is connected to my HDTV's
DVI input. My TV is a Samsung HL-P4663W 46" DLP. I can get X to

Hi all,
I just finished building up a new box containing both a Hauppauge
WinTV-350 & a pchdtv HD-3000 card that I want to install mythtv on. I'm
using the new DVB drivers for the HD-3000 available at
http://www.geocities.com/kirk_lapray, so I need to use a recent build of
mythtv. I'm wonderi
