Regarding copying mysql tables, you should have no problem... shut down
mysql on the new computer, copy over the appropriate database directory (for
the myth database), and restart mysql. This normally works quite well.

cards (which I'm assuming you have) the sound is captured by
connecting the audio-out of the tuner card to the line-in of the sound
cards and ensuring that the device is able to capture/record that

cards have to have a loopback cable connected to the sound card, which then
would render audio limited to 1 card only.
